Industry Vet Vogel Debuts AMID Strategies
RIDGEWOOD, N.J. — A 20-year security industry veteran, Ayal Vogel has launched AMID Strategies, a company that represents leading industry manufacturers and is dedicated to serving the specific technology needs of A&Es and security consultants.
AMID Strategies aims to bridge the gap between manufacturers and consultants by helping manufacturers focus on the tools that the consultants need to make their jobs easier.
Before spearheading AMID Technologies, Vogel served as vice president of business development at Intransa, a leading provider of servers and storage for video surveillance. Prior, he worked as executive vice president of Identica and served as vice president of business development for The Mer Group, a multinational provider of turnkey solutions for such industry sectors as telecommunications, security and defense.
He has also held positions at Lenel, Texas Instruments, Tyco Int’l, ADI/Honeywell and OzVision. He presently sits on the advisory board of Secure Strategy Group, a New York City and Washington-based banking and advisory firm dedicated to backing and building market leaders in the security and defense technology sectors.
