ASIS International Launches Call for Proposals and Reviewers for GSX 2025

Security industry experts invited to present and evaluate cutting-edge insights at Global Security Exchange Sept. 29-Oct. 1 in New Orleans.

ALEXANDRIA, Va.—Global security management professional association ASIS International today announces the opening of its Call for Proposals for the Global Security Exchange (GSX) 2025, slated for Sept. 29 through Oct. 1 in New Orleans.

ASIS’ announcement seeks “industry experts, thought leaders and practitioners to submit cutting-edge presentations across critical security domains.”

The association is also seeking “distinguished security professionals” to serve as proposal reviewers, “furthering the conference’s commitment to delivering exceptional educational content.”

“On behalf of ASIS International, I want to extend our deepest gratitude to our GSX 2025 Selection Committee to be led by Alejandro Liberman, CPP,” says ASIS International president Cy A. Oatridge, CPP, in the announcement.

“Their dedication, diversity and expertise ensure we continue to elevate the global security conversation, bringing the most innovative and impactful content to our members and the broader security community,” he says. “As the call for proposals opens, so does our global call for reviewers.”

Creating Attractive GSX 2025 Proposals

The GSX 2025 Conference seeks “innovative submissions addressing key security challenges and emerging trends and thought leadership,” with proposal topics spanning:

  • Active Assailant/Workplace Violence Prevention
  • Cybersecurity
  • Data Protection, Privacy, and Transparency
  • Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
  • Digital Transformation
  • Enterprise Security Risk Management (ESRM) Best Practices
  • Insider Threat
  • Security Leadership
  • Security Technologies
  • Soft Target Protection

The proposal reviewers will evaluate submissions based on “relevance, innovation, practical applicability, and potential to advance security practices globally,” the ASIS announcement says.

“We’re looking for proposals that not only illuminate current challenges but also provide actionable insights and forward-thinking strategies,” says Alejandro Liberman, CPP, chairman of the GSX 2025 Selection Committee.

“The best submissions will be highly relevant and demonstrate deep subject matter expertise as well as learning outcomes, include real-world case studies, and offer clear, implementable recommendations for security professionals,” he says.

ASIS’ call for GSX 2025 reviewers closes Jan. 22, 2025. Session proposals must be submitted electronically by Jan. 22, 2025. Accepted presenters and all other submitters will be notified by mid-April 2025.
