ASIS Int’l Selects INTRUSION Shield for 2020 Innovative Product Award

ALEXANDRIA, Va. — ASIS Int’l, a global association for security management professionals, recognized INTRUSION Shield as the recipient of its 2020 Innovative Product Award (IPA) during the Global Security Exchange Plus (GSX+) virtual experience.
The ASIS IPA competition, formerly known as Accolades, is said to recognize the security industry’s most innovative new products, services and technology solutions. These peer-distinguished solutions address critical industry trends and reflect the best of the innovation shaping the security industry, according to the association.
In an announcement, INTRUSION Shield is described as a combination of plug-and-play hardware, software, global data and AI services that provide organizations with the most robust defense possible. This security-as-a-service is said to block traffic and Internet flow, halting malicious behavior based on metrics that other intrusion protection products don’t have the ability to see or characterize.
“We are honored to receive the Innovative Product Award, as it validates our belief that INTRUSION Shield will truly change the landscape of cybersecurity,” states Jack B. Blount, president and CEO, INTRUSION. “Businesses are under attack every second of every day by cybercriminals.
