“CEDIA would like to express our concern for everyone impacted by the COVID-19 coronavirus,” the association states in the  in the Tech Summits cancellation announcement.

The association added that it is closely monitoring and following the travel and safety advice and precautions recommended by the World Health Organization (WHO) as well as by relevant government health agencies at a regional and local level.

“As of today, the remaining 2020 Tech Summits will take place as scheduled,” according to the statement. “This situation is very fluid right now and should a cancellation or a reschedule need to occur, we will notify all relevant participants and attendees.”
