Highlights: centralized search in the smart client pivots to browser style; users can search for data types from technology partner solutions that are integrated with search.

The company also promoted its new System Builder offering, which allows hardware manufacturers to ship their wares with Milestone XProtect software. Channel partners and customers will benefit from tested and validated configurations from hardware manufacturers since the VMS is preloaded onto the hardware, Palmquist explained.
