Wholesale Monitoring Brand SentryNet Is No More, Now Stanley Security
Wholesale monitoring provider SentryNet, acquired by Stanley Security in 2015, has fully assumed its parent company’s namesake.
MEMPHIS, Tenn.— It took about five years but the deed is done. Wholesale monitoring provider SentryNet, acquired by Stanley Security in 2015, has fully assumed its parent company’s namesake.
SentryNet was founded by David Avritt in 1987. Although terms were not disclosed at the time of the sale, Stanley Security acquired alarm monitoring services for about 650 independent alarm dealers. The company’s dealer base ranged from mom ‘n’ pop shops to medium-sized companies with upward of 4,000 accounts.
Stanley also took ownership of SentryNet’s monitoring center in Pensacola, Fla., where the company was headquartered, and its main central station in Memphis, Tenn.
In a recent tweet, the company posted a short video of the Memphis facility receiving its branding update. The video depicts workers using a hydraulic lift truck to hoist and install new signage onto the multistory brink building.
In the tweet, the company proclaimed, “When all that is happening in the world has passed we plan to have a grand re-opening for the Memphis STANLEY Security Monitoring Facility.”
