IQ Certification Program Replaces Board Member

ERIE, Pa. — The Installation Quality (IQ) Certification Program has chosen CPI Security System’s Darryl Parker to serve on the IQ Certification Board for the remainder of the year. Parker is assuming the role of IQ Board Member Michael Allen, who recently resigned.

As a quality control director for CPI Security and an IQ compliance officer, Parker’s duties involve supervising commercial and residential installations. He also investigates the security systems of customers who have had break-ins to ensure their systems work correctly.

Parker also assists the Charlotte-Mecklenburg (N.C.) Police Department in efforts to enhance its ability to secure and monitor as many as 50 separate facilities throughout the Charlotte Metro area.

He plans to seek election for a full term on the IQ board after his term ends on Dec. 31.
