ADS Security Completes Another Acquisition in Mississippi

Alarm One customers will have access to the ADS advanced suite of residential and commercial services, like an industry-leading mobile app, smart home technologies, video surveillance and access control solutions.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — ADS Security, a regional security and automation company based here, has acquired the customer accounts of Alarm One in Columbus, Miss.

Terms of the deal or information about the acquired accounts were not disclosed.

The purchase marks the third acquisition for ADS in 2018 and the 26th acquisition since 2014. The newly acquired accounts will be serviced by ADS Security’s existing branch in Columbus.

“We are thrilled about this partnership and excited to welcome the Alarm One team to ADS. Growing our presence across Mississippi is a key part of our strategy and this is an important step along that path,” says John Cerasuolo, ADS president and CEO.

According to its website, Alarm One has provided commercial and residential security systems, fire systems, home audio, intercoms, access control and phone systems since 1998. The owners, Jeff Pyle and Josh Mason, will not remain with ADS, according to an ADS spokesman.

The deal marks an increased presence in Mississippi for ADS. On May 2, the company announced it had acquired the customer accounts of The Alarm Co. in Jackson.

ADS was established in 1990 and currently serves thousands of businesses, industrial facilities and residences throughout the southeastern United States. The company operates a UL-listed monitoring center in Middle Tennessee.
