ADS Security Purchases Equinox Alarm in 4th Acquisition of 2017
ADS Security has made four acquisitions or more over the past four consecutive years.
NASHVILLE, Tenn. — ADS Security announces it has acquired the accounts of Tuscaloosa, Ala.-based Equinox Alarm Services.
This marks the company’s fourth acquisition of 2017, as well as the fourth consecutive year ADS had closed at least four acquisitions.
“We have an incredible team at ADS who works hard to make sure we are buying the right companies, and that the transition is as painless as possible for those customers,” says John Cerasuolo, ADS president and CEO. “We have known Carl and the quality of service he has provided for many years. Equinox Alarms provides an exceptional company culture and the type of legendary service we are always on the lookout for.”
Equinox customers will have access to the ADS advanced suite of residential and commercial services, including its mobile app and online web portal, smart home technologies, video surveillance and access control solutions.
Additionally, ADS has a Five Diamond monitoring center located in Nashville, Tenn., where customers can call and speak to a live person, 24/7/365.
Customers will be serviced out of the ADS Tuscaloosa office located at 711 Black Bears Way, Suite C, Tuscaloosa, Ala. 35401. Equinox Alarm Services owner, Carl Grantham, will be joining the ADS Security team in Tuscaloosa in a technician role. Equinox customers are currently being introduced and welcomed to ADS.
ADS started 2017 off by acquiring the assets of Falcon Fire Systems in the Charleston, S.C., market in January.
In August, ADS acquired Chattanooga, Tenn.-based ERMC Security Solutions, as well as New Bern, N.C.-based PMI Security in September.
In 2016, the company added 8,000 accounts across 6 purchases and opened two new locations in Dothan, Ala. and Sanford, N.C.
