ADT Boosts Commercial Division With Alliant Integrators Buy

Full-service provider Alliant Integrators is among the largest systems integrators serving the Kentucky and Southern Indiana region.

BOCA RATON, Fla. — ADT (NYSE: ADT) has acquired Louisville, Ky.-based Alliant Integrators, which will be folded into its commercial integration business, according to an announcement.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

ADT’s commercial division continues to increase its geographic footprint and strengthen its capacity to serve mid-market, national and largescale commercial customers with the acquisition, the announcement states.

Established in 2006 by Beverly and Jim Bozarth, Alliant Integrators, is among the largest providers of commercial fire alarm detection, installation, inspection and maintenance services in the Kentucky and Southern Indiana region.

“A wide range of commercial clients in education, healthcare and at industrial facilities trust Alliant’s team of talented and tenured professionals for their integrated fire, life safety and security systems requirements,” says said Dan Bresingham, executive vice president, ADT Commercial. “Alliant is a significant and welcome addition to ADT Commercial and will deepen our ability to be the one ideal integrator in the Kentucky and Southern Indiana areas.”

Alliant specializes in patient-caregiver nurse call, intrusion, video surveillance, life-safety solutions, school intercom, A/V systems, network cabling and clock systems, according to its website.

“We see a very bright future by combining the backing of a national, commercial integrator with our local and regional knowledge and technical expertise,” says Jim Bozarth, president, Alliant Integrators. “Becoming part of the exciting organization that is ADT Commercial is a logical next step for our company, team members and customers.

The company unveiled its ADT Commercial brand last year at ISC West as part of its multiyear expansion plans. Since merging with Protection 1, the company has expanded its commercial capabilities and customer-focused approach by combining more than dozen strategic acquisitions, bringing decades of experience to commercial and national account customers, according to the company.

SSI met with ADT Commercial executive leadership at GSX 2019 to discuss the new brand. In this video interview, Bresignham gave an overview of the commercial division’s capabilities, as well as what to expect from the company moving forward.
