B Safe Security Expands Reach With 2 Acquisitions
The purchase of the two companies gives B Safe Security greater depth of coverage in their respective locations, says company President Philip Gardner.

WILMINGTON, De. — B Safe, a regional provider of intrusion and fire alarms to Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey and Pennsylvania, has acquired Securitech of Wilmington, De., and DC Security Systems of Toms River, NJ.
The purchase of the two companies gives B Safe, publicly doing business as B Safe Security, greater depth of coverage in their respective cities, says B Safe President Philip Gardner. Both acquired companies were chosen based on their locations within B Safe’s current territories.
B Safe gains about 3,000 customer accounts and approximately $100,000 in recurring monthly revenue (RMR) in the deals. Terms of the transactions were not disclosed. The acquisitions were facilitated by John Colehower of Mergers & Acquisitions.

Founded in 1978, B Safe is a full-service provider of security and fire/life-safety systems to businesses, educational institutions, governments and homes. The company, based here, has more than 20,000 clients, according to an announcement.
A Platinum Honeywell Authorized Security Dealer, the company staffs NICET-certified technicians for fire alarm signaling systems and has UL certification for fire and intrusion alarm systems.
