Bold Perennial Rebrands as Bold Group to Reflect New Acquisitions

The new company name was announced to attendees of the SedonaOffice Users Conference and will be promoted by a new website and other marketing efforts.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Bold Perennial has formally changed its name to Bold Group following the recent acquisitions of Security Information & Management Systems (SIMS) and Secure Global Solutions (SGS).

The new company name was announced to attendees of the recent SedonaOffice Users Conference (SOUC) in Marco Island, Fla.

“The decision is really a practical one of inclusion,” explains company President Rod Coles. “Now that we are expanding beyond the two core companies that originally formed Bold Perennial, and there are possibilities for further expansion in the future, it made sense to create a name that was more inclusive of all the brands that make this company strong.”

Bold Group will be rolling out new marketing materials, including a new website, over the next few weeks, according to a press release.

In July 2018, Bold Technologies completed a merger with Perennial Software, a leader in business management software for installing security contractors. To facilitate the combining of the two companies, Bold and Perennial were acquired by EverCommerce, a service commerce platform. Bold then brought Perennial’s line of products, including SedonaOffice and AlarmBiller, under its umbrella.

Plano, Texas-based SIMS, which was acquired in December of last year, has provided software solutions for the alarm and security industry for more than 35 years. The company has developed numerous applications to help central stations such as Telelogik, Vapor Paper, SIMSWeb, SIMS for Windows, ComServer, iServer and the SIMS III automation software platform.

In January, EverCommerce acquired central station software provider SGS, producer of the stages platform. Founded in 2006, SGS enterprise-level software serves some of the largest central stations in the United States.

Bold Group will have increased presence at ISC West this year to exhibit its central station software platforms stages, Manitou, SIMS and SedonaOffice in booth #14109. Software platforms geared for enterprise customers, focusing on dealer solutions with the AlarmBiller platform, will be featured in booth #21131.
