Convergint Technologies Acquires Northeast-Based SI Technologies

SCHAUMBURG, Ill. — Convergint Technologies has acquired SI Technologies of Albany, N.Y., for undisclosed terms.
SI Technologies is a full-service provider of integrated security solutions, specializing in strategic commercial customers with a large presence in the government sector, according to an announcement.
“Joe Masciocco [president] and Jerry Mirochnik [CFO] have built a strong business that is a natural fit with our customers and culture,” states Ken Lochiatto, CEO of Convergint Technologies. “We’re excited to build on Convergint’s mission to be our customers’ best service provider. SI Technologies helps us further strengthen our rapidly growing reach and capabilities in the northeast, while bringing us a strong culture of service.”
All 44 SI Technologies colleagues across its three locations, which include Syracuse and Buffalo, will join Convergint.

Founded in 2002, the integrator has grown to employ more than 3,400 colleagues as the business continues to expand its security offerings and geographic footprint.
