Doyle Security Systems Merges With ADG Security in Rochester, N.Y.

The merger will result in 1,800 new customers to be monitored by Doyle’s emergency response center located in Henrietta, N.Y.

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Doyle Security Systems, a regional provider of residential and commercial security, fire and medical monitoring systems, has acquired ADG Security, a privately held company located in Hilton, N.Y.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

The merger will result in 1,800 new customers to be monitored by Doyle’s emergency response center located in Henrietta, N.Y., according to an announcement. Four ADG Security employees will join Doyle Security at its headquarters in various roles, including ADG Security’s owner, Alan DesGrange.

“We are thrilled to have Alan and his team join forces with us. We share a common vision of high quality and excellent customer service. We’re equally as excited to con-tinue to offer the latest in security technology and capabilities to all of our customers and to con-tinue to grow in the Rochester community,” states Doyle Security President and CEO John G. Doyle Jr.

Doyle Security Systems, family owned and operated since 1919, services more than 35,000 residential and commercial customers across New York and Pennsylvania. The company entered the Albany market in 2012 with the simultaneous mergers of JMS Alarms and LPE Security & Fire Alarm Systems.

The deal with ADG Security follows on the heels of Doyle’s purchase of Wolfe Safe & Lock Co., located near Albany, N.Y., in June.

In 2016, Doyle Security acquired Albany Protective Services, making them one of the largest security dealers in the region by account volume.

At the beginning of the year, Best Companies Group (BCG) named Doyle Security to its list of Best Places to Work in New York, an annual list recognizing the Empire State’s top workplaces.
