Doyle Security Completes Deals for Hart Alarm and Austin Security
The transactions mark Doyle Security’s third and fourth acquisitions of 2020, having previously acquired Titan Security and Eltec Security.

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Doyle Security Systems, based here, announces the acquisition of two security companies for undisclosed terms.
Doyle Security acquired 4,000 alarm accounts from Hart Alarm of Albany, N.Y. Family owned and operated, Hart Alarm has served the Capital District Region since 1974. The customer base features a roughly 70/30 mix of residential and commercial accounts.
Doyle Security will welcome 10 former Hart employees in the merger. The business will be combined with Doyle’s existing office in Albany and will create a dominant market position in the region, according to the announcement.
Also acquired, Austin Locksmithing & Security, based in Olean, N.Y. Founded in 1972, Austin Locksmithing & Security provides commercial and residential security services and locksmithing to Olean, Cattaraugus, Allegany, McKean and Potter counties, as well as the Southern Tier and Northwestern, Pa.
Doyle will monitor and service the 450 alarm accounts, while Austin will maintain its locksmithing operations. The alarm customer base is 70% commercial and 30% residential. Doyle will also be bringing on two employees in the merger.

The transactions mark Doyle’s third and fourth acquisitions of 2020, having previously acquired Titan Security in Syracuse, N.Y., and Eltec Security in Geneva, N.Y., and their fifth acquisition since celebrating their 100th anniversary on March 17, 2019.
Doyle Security Systems is the largest provider of residential and commercial security, fire and medical monitoring systems in Upstate, Western and Central New York as well as Western Pennsylvania, according to the company. Family owned and operated since 1919, the company services over 50,000 residential and commercial customers across New York and Pennsylvania.
