Fedora Security, Intertech Ci Merge; Now Operating as Fedora Intertech
The company will serve its clientele with Fedora Security’s technologies and Intertech’s expertise in systems integration.
CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Fedora Security, based here, and Intertech Ci of Pittsburgh, Pa., announce the merging of the two companies to become the new Fedora Intertech.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Fedora Intertech will serve organizations in the United States and abroad, combining Fedora Security’s security technologies and Intertech’s expertise in systems integration to provide best of breed technologies that connect, protect and communicate, according to an announcement.
Ron Chaimovski will be executive chairman of Fedora Intertech. Ben Khoushy and Ron Petnuch will be the company’s co-chief executives.
Fedora Security was formed in 2015 and grew to be a global provider of video analytics solutions, UL and TMA Five Diamond-certified monitoring, and security management tools used in multiple industries, particularly construction.
With an additional office in Tel Aviv, Fedora brought innovative in-house solutions to the security technology community, the announcement states.
“Fedora Security has grown and has a strong, loyal customer base to offer its state-of-the-art smart security solutions,” Chaimovski and Khoushy comment in a joint statement. “We saw Intertech Ci as a natural partner because they offer new execution capabilities in additional industries and locations as an established integrator of the types of systems we design and manage.”
The former Intertech Ci began was established in 2000 as a security systems integration company. The company subsequently opened branch operations Florida, Texas and Ohio, and broadened its expertise to technology solutions for organizations in a variety of industries that need complex electronic systems to improve safety, security, productivity and performance.
“This is a great opportunity focused on growth. Growth of our skills, expertise and offerings to bring more to our clients; growth in our organization overall and growth opportunities for our employees,” Petnuch says.
The new company will continue to have corporate locations in Pittsburgh; Charlotte; San Antonio and Houston, Texas; Naples, Fla.; Akron, Ohio; and Tel Aviv.
