Guardian Alarm Buys Ohio-Based Executive Security Consultants

The deal marks Guardian Alarm’s second acquisition this year in the Ohio market following its purchase of Sievers Security in April.

SOUTHFIELD, Mich. — Guardian Alarm, a Midwest residential and commercial fire, security and automation systems provider, announce the acquisition of Columbus, Ohio -based Executive Security Consultants.

This is Guardian Alarm’s second acquisition this year in the Ohio market following its purchase of Sievers Security last month.

Established in 1988 by Doug and Sandy Huey, Executive Security Consultants (ESC) provides residential and commercial alarm services in the greater Columbus area. Guardian Alarm says this acquisition continues ESC’s legacy as both companies provide exemplary, personalized customer service, but also have a family-like culture that exists within their teams.

“Guardian Alarm has been serving the Columbus market for many years and we look forward to welcoming the employees and customers of Executive Security Consultants,” says Brent Uhl, president and CEO of Guardian Alarm. “Executive Security Consultants has delivered reliable customer service in the Columbus metro area for over thirty years. With this merger, we will be able to expand their services to include fire and alarm services to area businesses and municipalities.”
