IPVideo Corp. Snaps Up True Security Design and Pangaro Training

The acquisition is said to give IPVideo’s sales channel the opportunity to strengthen and expand its service offerings and enhance product capabilities.

BAY SHORE, N.Y. — IPVideo Corp., a manufacturer of audio/video recording, passive weapons detection systems and IoT sensor technology, has acquired True Security Design and Pangaro Training, a leading provider of training programs for the police, school, business and religious communities.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

IPVideo and True Security Design have worked closely together over the past year, according to an announcement. The acquisition will give IPVideo’s national sales channel the opportunity to strengthen and expand its service offerings and enhance product capabilities.

True Security Design is best recognized for its training curriculum and Threat Vulnerability and Risk Assessments (TVRAs). The company’s clientele includes Fortune 500 companies, government agencies and municipalities, utilities, healthcare facilities, school districts, leading universities and religious institutions.

“Our customers have been asking us for services that complement their use of our products. The unique and comprehensive addition of Pangaro Training and True Security Design services to our product offerings fulfills that need,” states David Antar, president of IPVideo Corp.

Pangaro Training, the police training division of True Security Design, has been serving the law enforcement and school communities since 2009. It was previously owned and operated by Lt. Joseph Pangaro (Ret.), a 27-year veteran law enforcement executive.

The core group of instructors has grown from Lt. Pangaro to a team of experts in their fields to include active duty under-cover officers, forensics experts, bomb squad, SWAT team members and other proven leaders across law enforcement. Pangaro Training teaches in police academies and police agencies throughout New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

“Our award-winning and industry recognized training and TVRA’s have been well established in the Northeast. We are excited to take our programs and help protect organizations on a national level,” Lt. Pangaro says.
