Kimberlite Corp. Completes Deal for Security First Alarm King
This represents the first non-Sonitrol transaction by Kimberlite Corp. in its continuing growth and acquisition strategy in California.
Kimberlite Corp. is said to be the largest independent Sonitrol franchisee.
FRESNO, Calif. — Kimberlite Corp., a leading provider of security services to businesses and residences in California, announces the purchase of Security First Alarm King (SFAK). The acquisition further strengthens the company’s presence in the central California region and is a continuation of its stated goal to grow through strategic acquisitions.
Based in Visalia, Calif., SFAK provides integrated security and fire alarm systems. The company designs, installs, monitors and services security systems for industrial, commercial and residential customers throughout Tulare County.
“Security First Alarm King is a perfect fit for Kimberlite. During this process, we have been impressed by the high quality of the customers and employees at SFAK. [Owners] Robert and Sabrina Shahan have been a pleasure to work with through this process. They, and all their employees, will be staying on with Kimberlite. Kimberlite is said to be the largest independent Sonitrol franchisee. The company has operated an award-winning central station specializing in audio and video verified security solutions for more than three decades.
“We have known Joey and Kimberlite for many years. When it came time to sell our business, we could not have been more pleased that Joey was interested in buying our company. We are certain that this transaction will be in the best interests of our clients and employees. We are very excited about joining the Kimberlite family,” Sabrina Shahan comments.
