LRG Announces Change of Ownership

LRG veterans John Swinford and Kenny Hilton have purchased the organization from Chris Lanier.

JASPER, Texas — Electronic security factory rep firm LRG has announced that LRG veterans John Swinford and Kenny Hilton have purchased the organization from Chris Lanier effective March 13.

A long-time industry veteran, Lanier founded LRG in 2001. Texas-based LRG covers 16 states in the central U.S. for many of the industry’s top-tier manufacturers of intrusion, video, fire, audio and networking solutions. Lanier will be retained for the next year, assisting with the transition and leading new vendor and business-development initiatives, reports the company.

“This move is by design and with the right people for the future of the company,” Lanier says. “LRG has worked hard to service our customers and the supply chain with an ongoing sense of sales urgency. We are very appreciative of our partnerships and friendships in the industry.”

New CEO Swinford and CFO Hilton combine for more than 23 years of LRG experience as regional sales managers. They are joined by Conrad Hartwig, who continues his role as the organization’s VP of sales.
