Securitas Technology Acquires Sonitrol New Orleans

Sonitrol New Orleans allows Securitas to “strengthen its position as one of the largest providers of Sonitrol solutions in North America.”

UNIONTOWN, Ohio – Global security, health and safety technologies provider Securitas Technology today announces the acquisition of Sonitrol New Orleans.

This move “underscores Securitas Technology’s ongoing commitment to innovation, client-centric solutions, and expanding its geographic footprint to better serve clients across North America,” according to the joint announcement.

Sonitrol New Orleans, known for its Sonitrol audio sensor technology, now joins the Securitas Technology portfolio, allowing the parent company to “strengthens its position as one of the largest providers of Sonitrol solutions in North America,” the joint announcement says.

“This acquisition aligns with our focus to deliver cutting-edge security solutions while
keeping our clients at the center of everything we do,” says Tony Byerly, global president and CEO of Securitas Technology, in the announcement.

Sonitrol’s “rich legacy of innovation” dates back more than 60 years, with achievements including reducing false alarms and enhancing verified responses.

Together, Securitas Technology and Sonitrol New Orleans “will combine their expertise, leveraging advanced security technology for clients in North America,” according to the joint announcement.
