The AASP acquisition, facilitated by Steve Rubin of Davis Mergers & Acquisitions Group, increases Security Alarm Corp.’s Florida footprint.
PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. — Security Alarm Corp. (SAC), based here, has announced the acquisition of Alert Alarm Systems Plus (AASP) of Sarasota Fla.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
AASP was founded by Victor and Vincent Della Volpe in 1988. The family-owned and operated business provides security, video surveillance, structured wiring and central vacuum systems, as well as custom audio installations.
“We are excited about the partnership with Victor and Vincent who have built a well-run and successful business. We wanted to expand on the Gulf Coast, and AASP was perfect for achieving our acquisition goals,” SAC President Justin Allbright explains.
SAC has acquired four other security companies in the past. It’s most recent purchase was Omnitech Communications & Protection, based in Bradenton.
SAC is one of Florida’s premier security companies, having been named by Business Observer to its “Top 500 Gulf Coast Companies.” Allbright was also recognized by the business publication as one of its “40 under 40 Class of 2020.”
SAC was founded in 1979 and staffs more than 40 employees. SAC is a full-service, low-voltage systems integration company. The company installs and services security alarms, fire alarms, video surveillance systems, access control solutions, along with providing structured cabling services. The company was distinguished as an Integrator of the Month by SSI in 2020.
