Sentry Alarm Systems Acquires CPP Alarm & Video

CPP has served the residential and small business markets in the Sacramento Valley region of California since 1981.

MONTEREY, Calif. — Sentry Alarm Systems, based here, has acquired CPP Alarm & Video, a security dealer that has served the Sacramento area since 1981.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Owned and operated by Andy Anderson, CPP has more than 8,000 installations throughout the Sacramento Valley, according to its website. The company is a Honeywell authorized dealer, serving residential and commercial markets.  Among its government agency clients, CPP services California State Parks, California DMV, California Department of Food and Agriculture, among others.

“The marriage of our strong bases of subscribers is a win-win situation for our customers and our employees. Sentry’s firm foothold in the West will enhance the services and support available to our entire group,” says Anderson.

Sentry Alarm Systems has accounts throughout the West Coast and is rapidly expanding its customer base throughout the United States, according to a press release. Established in 1971, Sentry is a full-service provider of intrusion alarm, fire alarm, fire sprinklers, video surveillance systems and access control systems. It also operates a UL Listed central station.
