Central Station Software Maker SGS Acquired by EverCommerce
The SGS stages platform will be folded into the Bold Perennial family of companies, which EverCommerce created in 2018 via acquisitions.
Bold Perennial is introducing SGS to its customers at the SedonaOffice Users Conference in Marco Island, Fla., Jan. 27-30.
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — EverCommerce has acquired central station software provider Secure Global Solutions (SGS), producer of the stages platform.
The transaction marks the fourth security company to be acquired by EverCommerce, a service commerce platform, in less than a year. The acquisitions included Bold Technologies and Perennial Software — which were merged to form Bold Perennial — and SIMS. The security division operates under the name, the Bold Group.
Founded in 2006, SGS enterprise-level software serves some of the largest central stations in the United States. Thom Meyer, senior vice president of SGS, says the “future of stages has never been brighter.”

SGS was founded on the principle of providing a superior, next generation automation platform to the alarm and security industry, backed by outstanding service and customer care,” Meyer says. “Looking forward, this merger provides us with greater resources and industry exposure, and allows us to deliver our boutique service and our innovative solutions to a broader audience.”

The stages platform is an excellent complement to the Bold Perennial portfolio and will enable the company to provide a robust and complete business offering for every type of security company, explains Rod Coles, president of Bold Perennial.
