Strategic Security Solutions Acquires Partner Integrator

Located in west-central Virginia, the Intelligent Security Integrations location will allow S3 to service clients throughout the western part of the state.

RALEIGH, N.C. — Strategic Security Solutions (S3), a provider of engineered security solutions, announces the acquisition of Lynchburg, Va.-based Intelligent Security Integrations.

The transaction, terms of which were not disclosed, is said to accommodate S3’s rapid growth and to leverage the two company’s existing client relationships.

Led by its owner, Christian Batchelor, Intelligent Security Integrations is a long-time S3 partner in the area and will add additional resources and infrastructure to the already talented staff in the office, according to the announcement.

S3 CEO Jay Slaughterbeck states, “The decision to move into the Lynchburg market was an obvious step when we considered our long-term growth strategy. [N]ow that we have the infrastructure in place to expand our company to new area, it’s exciting to have Lynchburg become our first branch office outside of Raleigh.”

Located in west-central Virginia, the Lynchburg location will allow S3 to service clients throughout the western part of the state. S3’s branch manager in Raleigh, Pat Zakaria, comments, “Christian and his team at ISI are very talented and will be a great addition to our team. We’ve partnered with them for a long time and they are the right fit for the S3 culture.”

While S3 performs implementations globally for key clients, Western Virginia has historically been an area of which S3 has maintained a significant workload, according to the announcement. The expansion to Lynchburg will allow S3 to enhance their service to customers in the area, while offering a significant talent pool for the company from the local colleges and universities.

S3 is a full-service security integrator focusing on enterprise-class security systems deployments and next-generation security solutions. Prior to the acquisition S3 had revenues nearing $8 million.
