WEYMOUTH, Mass. — Regional fire alarm and life safety systems design, equipment and technical support firm Advanced Signal Corp., has completed its relocation to its new headquarters location, according to a company announcement.

All of the Advanced Signal team and the parts warehouse are now based at 1239 Washington St. in Weymouth, Mass. All employees’ phone numbers and email addresses will remain the same.

“Our new location is just a few miles away, but it’s a big move for the long-term growth and stability of the company,” says Wells Sampson, president of Advanced Signal’s parent company, American Alarm.

For many years, Advanced was located in a rented facility in Randolph, Mass. Its new home in Weymouth is company owned and co-located with American Alarm’s South Shore operations center.  The building was recently renovated and Weymouth Mayor Robert Hedlund cut the ribbon at the official opening.

“When we bought Atlas Alarm and the building in Weymouth, we knew it was big enough for us to consider this move for Advanced Signal,” says Louis Sampson, chief operating officer of American Alarm, in the company announcement.

“Now we have a permanent home for Advanced Signal, which continues to operate as a separate division of the company providing its specialized services for electrical contractors and other customers,” he says.

Advanced Signal is an authorized engineered systems distributor for Notifier, a manufacturer of commercial fire alarm control panels and comprehensive life safety systems.

In addition to Notifier, Advanced’s NICET certified systems consultants, in-house engineering department, and team of licensed technicians can design, test, inspect and service all major brands of fire alarms and life safety systems.
