Guardian Protection Services Opens Branch to Serve Nashville Area
The super-regional provider plans to provide smart security and automation solutions to homes and small businesses.
PITTSBURGH — Guardian Protection Services, a leading provider of smart security and automation for home and business, has expanded its presence in the southeastern United States with the opening of a branch in Brentwood, Tenn., located 10 miles south of the Nashville.
The site became operational Nov. 1. Guardian now markets its services in 20 states. In addition to its branch locations, the company has customer service and UL-Listed monitoring centers in Arizona and Pennsylvania.
“We’ve been working diligently to identify the geographic areas where we can best grow our business,” stated Guardian President Bryan Cipoletti. “Nashville is a good fit for us in that it has demographic characteristics similar to our current core market areas and is within an approximate 250-mile proximity of existing Guardian locations in Indianapolis and Cincinnati. We also have strong relationships with builder partners who have operations in Nashville and would like to be able to expand upon these.”
The new Brentwood office will be led by industry veteran James Ward, who will serve as general manager of the location. He began his career with Security Central of Arkansas and went on to found COP Security in Arkansas, which he operated for nearly 20 years. Ward is also a veteran of the U.S. Army. Heading-up operations is Tim Rae, who has more than 20 years of technical and management experience within the security industry.
The Nashville market represents a significant opportunity for Guardian, according to an announcement. Forbes ranks it number seven on its 2018 annual fastest growing cities list, up from number 20 one year ago. According to www.data.nashville.gov, nearly 40% of the building permits issued in Nashville in the last year have been for new single-family homes.
Guardian will be marketing its smart home security and control solutions to existing homes and small businesses as well as the new home construction market. The company has experienced considerable growth of its smart home business in the past 12 years. Guardian offers its sales, installation and service expertise as a turnkey method for builders to bring smart home technology to their buyers.
“Builders appreciate our strength, stability and know-how,” says Ward. “Our ‘white-glove service’ creates an optimal experience for the new homeowner and keeps things hassle-free for the builder.”
