NEWBURY, U.K. – Lock and access control manufacturer Codelocks has created a new board of directors following significant global growth.

Senior leadership in all of Codelocks’ markets are receiving new positions too, as the company, marking 33 years in operations, focuses on greater international expansion.

The company has “dramatically increased its revenue in recent years,” driven by 22 new products and solutions, two new international locations, and a growing presence in each of its four markets: Europe, Americas, Asia Pacific, and the United Kingdom.

To maintain its industry-acclaimed service levels, Codelocks “invests heavily in new people and has almost doubled the size of the team in the past 10 years,” according to the company announcement.

Codelocks’ new structure “will help with knowledge sharing between regions and new product innovations for each market,” the announcement says. The changes “will help to ensure an enhanced customer experience globally.”

As a part of the new structure, the company has made internal promotions, appointing regional directors to oversee each market, while its new board will oversee global operations.

Inside the New Codelocks Leadership Team

Dominic Ryan has been appointed chairman of the board.

“I have seen Codelocks grow over many years having joined in 1993, two years after my father founded the company,” he says in the company announcement. From inception to international expansion, Codelocks has maintained its core values of family, integrity, and putting our customers first. It shows too. Today we still work with core industry distributors who we worked with back in the early 1990s.”

Joanne Milne-Rowe has joined the board as managing director UK. She will work with all U.K. departments and collaborate closely with the regional directors in each market.

“Codelocks is the market leader for access control in the U.K.,” she says in the announcement. “I am excited to take the helm as managing director of an organization with such a strong reputation. I look forward to working with my U.K. team and the opportunity to share knowledge with our other regions so they can follow our blueprint and continue to further grow.”

Colin Campbell will step into the new role of chief executive officer (CEO). His long-standing expertise “will help to strengthen operations and as CEO he will oversee the strategic direction of the business globally,” according to the company announcement.

“We have exciting new additions to our product range, whether within our core mechanical offering, our extensive range of electronic locks, or our growing Codelocks Innovations platform, we are set for a busy year of product launches,” says Campbell.

“We have a roadmap setting out where we want to be, the next-generation of products we’ll create, and how to further establish Codelocks as a leading player in the access control sector globally,” he says.

Ros Bayliss will join the board as global marketing director. Bringing more than 25 years of experience, she will oversee marketing efforts across all regions “to ensure Codelocks’ message aligns with its goals,” according to the company announcement.

“As our reach expands, we need to build an international reputation that mirrors our success in the U.K.,” says Bayliss. “Strengthening our brand in each region is crucial to our global growth – we are a family business with a global vision.”
