VIVOTEK and ProdataKey Announce Integration Partnership
Collaboration integrates VIVOTEK’s VORTEX cloud surveillance platform with ProdataKey’s cloud-based access control service.
SAN JOSE, Calif. – IP security solution provider VIVOTEK just announced its integration partnership with Draper, Utah-based ProdataKey (PDK). To wit, VIVOTEK’s VORTEX cloud surveillance will integrate with the PDK access control solution “to unlock a comprehensive view of physical security,” a media release indicates.
“PDK is a leading innovator of networked cloud-based access control products and services who are dedicated to providing an efficient and seamless user experience, making them ideally suited as a VIVOTEK partner and our VORTEX cloud surveillance platform,” says Albert Lin, VIVOTEK USA general manager, in the joint announcement.
“We are looking forward to working with the PDK team to make our customer’s integration requirements harmonious and easy-to-use,” he says.
The PDK.io cloud platform “allows for complete system management and control through any web-connected device, anywhere, anytime,” according to the joint announcement.
With thousands of systems managing tens of thousands of doors for a expanding base of customers throughout North America and beyond, PDK “delivers an unparalleled user experience as well as the highest levels of security, safety, and data privacy,” the announcement says.
Why VIVOTEK and ProdataKey Teamed Up Using VORTEX
“We are thrilled to announce the integration of ProdataKey’s access control systems with VIVOTEK’s advanced camera technology,” says Brach Bengtzen, vice president of marketing at ProdataKey, in the joint announcement. “This collaboration brings together the strength of both platforms, providing users with a seamless security experience.
“By syncing our systems, users can now enjoy enhanced real-time monitoring, better incident response, and an overall more efficient, unified approach to managing their security infrastructure. We believe this integration will significantly elevate the security standards for our customers,” he says.
VORTEX “represents VIVOTEK’s next-generation AI-powered operations automation platform that meshes video data, AI, big data and cloud into a cohesive and powerful safety and security solution,” according to the joint announcement.
VORTEX “provides intelligent and user-friendly data analysis services, leveraging a hybrid cloud architecture that transcends conventional storage frameworks,” the announcement says. “No longer is dedicated video management software or centralized management systems required to manage and process video data.”
With VORTEX, video data can be stored and analyzed via edge computing directly within the camera and backup in the cloud, reducing time, cost and bandwidth limitations of the past.
“Experience VIVOTEK’s innovative vision, where simplicity in every advanced product and feature shapes a more streamlined future for you,” says Lin. “Customize a seamless, cost-effective security system with our on-premise and cloud solutions, crafted for your needs.
“We are excited to continuously add new value and insights for VIVOTEK partners and users through these ever-evolving concepts and directives,” he says.
