ABLOY USA Names Vertical Market Manager for Utilities & Telecom

Dries Pepler most recently served as a territory sales manager for Houston-based Alarm Lock, a division of Napco Security Technologies.

IRVING, Texas — ABLOY USA announces the appointment of Dries Pepler to serve as the new vertical market manager for utilities and telecom. Pepler will report to Jerry Burhans, ABLOY USA’s managing director.

Pepler returns to the company after a 15-month hiatus. He has an impressive track record as an accomplished, multilingual sales professional with 20 years of experience, according to the announcement.

Pepler most recently served as a territory sales manager for Houston-based Alarm Lock, a division of Napco Security Technologies. Prior to that job, he served in the same position at Assa Abloy’s Mul-T-Lock for a year after working as a regional sales manager with Abloy Security for two years in California.

Pepler also has 14 years of experience in DIY consumables, the majority of it spent as a regional sales manager for a company in Johannesburg, South Africa, before coming to the Unitd States in 2014.

“I was looking for a better future for my family. I’m always looking at improving myself to achieve the best in what I do,” says Pepler. “I’m really looking forward to this opportunity. There were significant changes at ABLOY USA in the past year and I am excited to be part of the team again.”

Pepler says he has some immediate goals to implement this year.

“I’m looking to contribute to the company’s expansion by growing the customer base and increasing sales. My focus will be on critical infrastructure security solutions for Utilities and Telecom and providing training for those customers,” he says. “With the variety and depth of the products we have available, I also plan to identify new business opportunities.”
