ACRE Makes 2 Hires to Strengthen Management Team

Jim Kelly will join ACRE as chief revenue officer, while Chuck O’Leary will join the management team and serve as president of Open Options.

LAS VEGAS — ACRE, a global provider of security and communication networking systems, announces the hiring of two key industry veterans to its management roster.

Jim Kelly will join ACRE as chief revenue officer beginning March 1. Kelly brings a wealth of experience having had successful positions at Software House, Sensormatic, Tyco Int’l and Johnson Controls. While at Software House, he led the sales and marketing efforts to build the business from $2 million to $120 million in North America.

While at Johnson Controls, Kelly was responsible for developing sales plans to achieve revenue goals for more than a dozen brands in the company’s security products division.

“Hiring Jim will add depth at the ACRE management level that can help catapult us to the next level,” states ACRE CEO Joseph Grillo, an SSI Hall of Fame inductee. “The ACRE brands have a well-established reputation for world-class service and support; therefore, Jim’s focus will be to devise marketing, sales and channel strategies to accelerate the growth and build on the successes already achieved within the businesses.”

Chuck O’Leary will join the management team and serve as president of Open Options, based in Addison, Texas. He will take on the role currently held by Steve Wagner.

O’Leary’s track record includes managing the sales organizations at Honeywell, Stanley Security Solutions and consistently leading the LenelS2 business to record results. He brings 25 years of sales leadership to the team.

“Chuck’s sales and management skills are perfectly suited to assure Open Options achieves its goal of doubling the business over the next five years and I look forward to working with him as we transition the leadership of this great company,” Wagner says.

Since its formation in 2012, ACRE has developed and implemented security technology initiatives on a global scale. The holding company operates Vanderbilt, RS2 Technologies, Open Options and ComNet brands and staffs approximately 400 employees in more than 20 countries.
