ADT Cybersecurity Welcomes Jimmy Treuting as SVP Sales and Marketing

Treuting has 30+ years of IT experience, including his previous role as a sales and marketing executive at Netchex Online, a Cloud-based HR and payroll solutions provider.

BOCA RATON, Fla. — ADT has appointed IT industry veteran Jimmy Treuting to serve as senior vice president of sales and marketing for ADT Cybersecurity.

ADT Cybersecurity was formed in November 2017 with the acquisition of Datashield and is focused on delivering managed detection and response (MDR) services to commercial and enterprise businesses nationwide. Treuting brings more than three decades experience in sales, marketing, customer impact and operations management with extensive profit and loss responsibilities in high-growth organizations, according to a press release.

“Throughout his distinguished career, Jimmy has built strong sales and marketing teams dedicated to serving the customer,” says Michael Malone, senior vice president, ADT Cybersecurity. “His focus on delivering an outstanding customer experience aligns well with ADT’s foundation and will drive efforts to expand our cybersecurity solutions across the country.”

Prior to joining ADT Cybersecurity, Treuting served as senior vice president of sales and marketing at Netchex Online, a provider of Cloud-based human resources and payroll solutions. He formerly held CEO positions with Verticalive, a technology startup company focused on developing and supporting a Microsoft Azure-based software accelerator framework; Dukky, a provider of integrated social media solutions; and Strategic Consulting.

In addition to his previous roles, Treuting spent more than eight years with Verio and Nippon Telephone & Telegraph (NTT) where he was president of three divisions and was responsible for the profit and loss for several areas of the company. He was also chairman and CEO of Communique, a regional Internet service provider that he managed from startup to sale.

“I look forward to working closely with the existing ADT commercial and national account sales teams to expand their offerings to include cybersecurity solutions through innovative marketing programs,” Treuting says. “With the threat of data breaches growing every day, the timing could not be better. I am excited to be part of this team.”
