AMG Expands Americas Sales and Marketing Team
Dave Sinise, Dan Anderson and Frank Haight join AMG on the company’s push into the North America market.
BIGGLESWADE, U.K. – AMG Systems of the United Kingdom and USA is strengthening its North American sales and marketing effort by adding three key industry veterans to lead the push into the Americas:
- Dave Sinise, formerly ComNet eastern regional sales manager, is now AMG vice president of sales for the East Region;
- Dan Anderson, former ComNet director of sales, is now AMG vice president of sales for the West Region; and
- Frank (Skip) Haight, former ComNet vice president of marketing, is now Americas marketing manager.
“When we decided to bring our innovative line of transmission products to North America, we knew we needed to attract top talent to succeed in the Americas security and infrastructure markets. Dave, Dan, and Skip are at the top of their field and have succeeded in every facet of their responsibilities,” says Steve Clarke, AMG managing director. “All three come from ComNet and before that IFS/GE Security and have been in the sales and marketing of transmission products for over 20 years. We believe the combined experience of all three is perfect to lead AMG into the North American market.”
Dave Sinise is an electrical engineer and led ComNet ITS and Security Sales for the East Region since ComNet started in 2008. He set numerous sales-achievement records and was also a key driver in his former company’s product-development plans, having a key understanding of the needs of the market and an ability to translate those into clear solutions the ever-evolving market requires.
“I’m enthused to be part of a company with a winning growth strategy.,” says Sinise. “The products AMG has developed in the past few years have put the company exponentially ahead of every other competitor today. And the attention to detail allows AMG to be very cost-competitive, giving us a unique position in the market.”
Dan Anderson, known for his technical abilities and managerial skills acquired from his degree from Texas Tech, comes to AMG from his former role as recent director of sales and western regional sales manager for ComNet. His 25-plus years of experience selling network and communication equipment to the commercial security, ITS and Infrastructure markets, gives him a strong grasp on market and technology trends in the industries AMG competes in. Anderson was key in driving record-setting sales achieved in ComNet’s Western Region.
“AMG is uniquely positioned to be the next force in the Americas in terms of communication products. What we offer is measurably superior,” says Anderson. “I was part of IFS, then ComNet, and through hard work and a talented team, we made those companies the most successful transmission product companies of their era. I look forward to bringing AMG to that position very quickly.”
Skip (Frank) Haight, recently retired ComNet global vice president of marketing, was the second employee hired by George Lichtblau when starting ComNet in 2008. Haight established the marketing acumen, strategy and tactics that took ComNet from an unknown startup to the highest profile, most successful company leading to the ACRE acquisition. Before ComNet, Haight was the director of marketing for IFS (GE Security) leading that company’s marketing effort and the rapid growth IFS experienced before being acquired by GE.
“I’ve been lucky in my career being able to lead two companies to become the acknowledged leader in their markets,” says Haight. “I take pride in those accomplishments, and I appreciate Steve Clarke giving me the opportunity to do it a third time. AMG is uniquely positioned in all facets of competing in this market, the products, manufacturing, quality, and customer support are all second to none. My goal is to make our prospective customers aware of AMG and the advantages we bring to their communication product challenges.”
AMG notes that the new employees “…are step one in AMG’s expansion into the Americas. Coming soon is a new facility for offices, warehousing and shipping. AMG plans on adding employees as the expansion progresses.”
