DMP Appoints Richard Villafane to Field Technical Training Team

Villafane arrives at DMP with more than 37 years of experience in the security industry and 22 years of service in the Army Reserve.

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — DMP  has named Richard Villafane as its new regional training manager for the Mid-South/Southeast territory.

In his new role, Villafane will leverage his DMP product expertise to develop installation and programming specialists with dealers throughout the territory, which includes Kentucky, Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina and Northwest Florida.

“Rich has an extensive background in the security industry,” says the company’s Director of Field Technical Training Tim Nissen. “That experience, along with his military background, will serve DMP dealers with a high level of professionalism and technical expertise. He will be an asset to the training team.”

Villafane arrives at the company, based here, with more than 37 years of experience in the security industry and 22 years of service in the Army Reserve. The last 13 years, he worked with Interlogix as the field sales engineer for the manufacturer’s Southeast region. He holds certifications in intrusion, video and access control platforms and a low-voltage license in Georgia.
