DMP Appoints Dealer Development Manager for New York Metro

Dave Farquhar brings to DMP more than 25 years experience as a consistent fixture in the New York Metro security and investigations space.

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — DMP has appointed Dave Farquhar to the position of dealer development manager (DDM) in the company’s New York Metro sales area. He will report to Ken Nelson, DMP director of sales, East.

As DDM, Farquhar will serve as the sales and support representative for DMP-authorized dealers in the city and suburbs of New York City, Long Island and the Mid and Lower Hudson Valley. The territory also includes north and central New Jersey.

For more than 25 years, Farquhar has been a consistent fixture in the New York Metro security and investigations space, according to an announcement. From inside sales to branch manager and regional sales manager roles, he has built a solid reputation in the security industry with strong emphases in access control and video surveillance.

“I am thrilled to come on board with such an innovative, customer-driven and solutions-oriented company as DMP,” states Farquhar, regarding his new role at the company. “I look forward to applying my sales acumen, industry knowledge and commitment to business relationship-building to further DMP’s presence and sales goals in the New York Metro market.”
