MIAMI — Mission 500, a nonprofit charitable organization focusing on the security industry, is now accepting nominations for the 2019 Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Award and 2019 Humanitarian Award.

Both awards will be presented at the Security 5/2K awards ceremony on April 11 during ISC West in Las Vegas.

The Mission 500 CSR Award honors a company in the security industry that has made a significant contribution to those in need. The judging criteria includes an assessment of applicants’ CSR programs as they relate to effectiveness in helping the communities they focus on, involvement of company personnel, sustainability, and long-term impact of the programs and activities that go beyond financial contributions.

“Mission 500 is immensely thankful to all of the sponsors and volunteers that have continued to support this organization, and enable us to help improve the lives of children and families in need,” says George Fletcher, advisory board member and Mission 500 volunteer. “The Mission 500 CSR and Humanitarian Awards are our way of acknowledging the outstanding contributions of the company and individual who exceeded the high expectations of their peers over the past year.”
