Nice Announces New Chief Information Officer, Vice President of Marketing and CFO
Recent moves include the promotion of Josh Jones to CIO and appointments of Danielle Karr (marketing VP) and Daniel Antolin (CFO).
CARLSBAD, Calif. — Home automation and building solutions provider Nice North America recently announced the promotion of Josh Jones to chief information officer and the appointments of Danielle Karr as vice president of marketing and Daniel Antonin as chief financial officer.
As CIO, Jones “will lead the information technology and systems strategy for Nice North America, ensuring seamless integration and optimization across the company’s expansive portfolio of brands,” according to the company announcement.
He will oversee all IT initiatives, cybersecurity and technology-driven innovation, the announcement says. He was previously the company’s senior director of IT.

“Josh has been an invaluable part of the Nice North America team, consistently demonstrating his deep expertise, innovative thinking, and unwavering dedication to excellence,” says Emanuel Bertolini, CEO of Nice North America, in the announcement.
“As we continue to expand and innovate, his leadership will be instrumental in driving our technology strategy and ensuring we meet the evolving needs of our partners and customers,” he says.
Jones says in the announcement he is “honored to take on this new role and excited about the opportunity to shape the technological future of Nice North America.” said Jones.
With a career spanning Vivint, Control4, Snap One and more, Karr “brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record of creating engaging, customer-centric marketing strategies,” according to the Nice announcement.
“Danielle’s deep understanding of our industries and her passion for supporting partners make her the perfect fit to head marketing for Nice North America,” says Bertolini in the announcement. “Her leadership will bring fresh energy and a partner-first approach that ensures our dealers have the tools, resources, and strategies to excel and grow their businesses.”
“I am excited and honored to lead the Nice North America Marketing team and collaborate with our partners to create marketing strategies that drive their growth and amplify the value they deliver to customers,” says Karr in the announcement. “My goal is to ensure every partner feels equipped to succeed in an evolving market.”
Mark Owen Burson, who has been instrumental in shaping the Nice North America marketing efforts through the company’s acquisition of Nortek Security & Control and multiple brand transitions to the Nice name, now leads the company’s ProAV Solutions division.
Antolin brings with him more than 20 years of financial experience, developed in prominent positions in the banking and industrial sectors on a global scale. His career includes leadership positions at Bank of America, FCA Group, Opel, British Steel and most recently as vice president and CFO of Marelli’s Propulsion Solutions division.
A Spanish citizen, Antolin has lived and worked in several key markets for Nice’s development, including Italy, the United Kingdom, Germany, Poland, the United States, South Africa and Brazil.
