Nortek Control Appoints Regional Sales Manager for Central U.S. Region

Dan Emmons is responsible for expanding and managing sales opportunities in North Texas, assisting dealers, integrators and distributors.

CARLSBAD, Calif. — Nortek Control has appointed Dan Emmons as regional sales manager for the 2GIG, ELAN, Proficient, SpeakerCraft, Panamax and Numera brands in its central U.S. region.

Emmons has responsibility for expanding and managing sales opportunities in the North Texas area helping dealers, integrators and distributors select the best security and connected home solutions for their customers. He brings more than 12 years’ experience to Nortek Control with substantial knowledge of the home security industry and the latest products and technologies, according to an announcement.

Prior to joining Nortek Control, Emmons held a business development manager position at Brink’s Home Security where he was awarded the company’s Partner Manager of the Year in 2018 and 2019. His experience also includes a position with Talus Payments as a territory sales manager responsible for business-to-business financial management.

“I’m excited to join Nortek Control at a time of dynamic market growth. I plan to assertively increase awareness of the brand’s advanced features that will give our partners a competitive advantage in selling the future of smart home and business technology,” says Emmons. “Because of my experience in the area, I know that there is quite a bit of untapped potential in the central U.S. where dealers can capitalize on new business opportunities from having Nortek Control products in their portfolios.”

Emmons arrives at Nortek Control with excellent business development and sales management credentials where he has demonstrated achievement in maximizing customer relationships, says Andy Lovsted, vice president of sales at Nortek Control.

“Drawing on his extensive industry experience and product-based knowledge, Dan is a known problem solver and will be a true asset in supporting our dealer and distributor partners for continued business growth,” Lovsted continues. “He will also play a key role in supporting customers to meet burgeoning demand in Texas for our smart home automation solutions.”
