Nortek Security & Control Hires Former MONI Exec Bruce Mungiguerra

Mungiguerra will be responsible for the management of sales across all channels worldwide, as well as the business development programs to expand product sales for NSC.

CARLSBAD, Calif. — Nortek Security & Control (NSC), a leading provider of smart connected devices and systems, announces the appointment of Bruce Mungiguerra to senior vice president, sales and business development. He will be responsible for the management of sales across all channels worldwide, as well as the business development programs to expand product sales for NSC.

Mungiguerra has more than 20 years of experience in the home and commercial security industry. He previously served with MONI Smart Security, a leading provider of monitored home and business security system services to residential and commercial customers. He served in a number of increasingly senior sales positions from 2006 to 2018.

Mungiguerra will report to NSC President Mike O’Neal.

Bruce’s experience in our key channel is a track record of success that will benefit all our sales channels.”

Mungiguerra most recently served as COO and senior vice president of operations (2012-2018) and was responsible for leading the company’s dealer sales organization and integration of two acquisitions.

Before joining MONI Smart Security, Mungiguerra was with Brink’s Home Security, a provider of home security services that merged with ADT Security Services in 2010. Earlier positions at Brinks included general manager, field operations for the Dallas/Fort Worth region and senior manager, national sales. From 1988 to 2001 he managed reservation sales at Delta Airlines.
