Pivot3 Appoints Rance Poehler to Lead Global Sales Organization
Poehler, a former Dell and Panasonic executive, will lead sales teams and drive growth across Pivot3’s hybrid Cloud and IoT solutions.

AUSTIN, Texas — Pivot3, a leading provider of intelligent infrastructure solutions, has appointed Rance Poehler as vice president of global sales and chief revenue officer.
He will be responsible for leading Pivot3’s global sales organization and executing on the company’s growth strategy and talent acquisition, according to an announcement.
Poehler joins Pivot3 from Dell Technologies where he served as vice president of worldwide sales for its Cloud client computing team, an $800 million line of business that represents a full suite of Cloud and desktop virtualization solutions.
With more than 25 years of experience addressing Cloud computing, security, IoT and video surveillance solutions in unique vertical markets and with a broad ecosystem of partners, Poehler has managed sales and marketing, engineering and technology development and overall business operations.
Prior to Dell, he served more than 20 years in various roles at Panasonic. During his tenure as president of Panasonic System Communications Co., he led a $1.1 billion business-to-business North American division. At Toshiba and IBM, Poehler held progressively senior roles selling into corporate data centers.

As leader of global sales for Pivot3, he will build on the momentum of regional sales and channel teams, both in the U.S. and internationally, and will direct and execute growth strategies across Pivot3’s federal and global major accounts teams.
