Speco Hires 9 Across Sales, Support & Service

Security industry veterans and newcomers are the latest to join Speco’s growing video surveillance team.

AMITYVILLE, N.Y. — Speco Technologies announces it recently hired nine people in sales, product management, technical support and customer service.

“As we continue to round out our industry leading team, we are very excited to be adding these extremely passionate and professional people to the Speco family.” says Todd Keller, Speco Technologies CEO.

The company welcomes new regional sales managers TJ Dally, Julian Cardona, Jim Matheson, Larry Druien and David Miller.

Dally, Matheson and Miller all come from China’s largest video surveillance manufacturer, according to the company. Dally is responsible for supporting Speco’s expanding regional sales efforts with a focus on key accounts throughout the Southwest. He is based in Dallas

Matheson is responsible for supporting expanding sales efforts throughout the Southern California area and is based in San Diego. Based in Illinois, Miller is responsible for supporting regional sales efforts with an emphasis on key accounts throughout the Midwest.

Cardona brings many years of sales experience to the Speco team, previously working in both the video manufacturing industry as well as the security distribution field. He is responsible for supporting the company’s expanding sales efforts throughout North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia. Cardona is based in the Charleston, S.C. area.

Druien has over 30 years of security industry knowledge and is responsible for supporting expanding regional sales efforts in Georgia, Tennessee and Alabama. He is based in Georgia. The new sales managers report to the senior director of sales.

On the product management side, Speco welcomes Derek Cleveland, who the company says brings many years of product marketing experience, most recently working at ADI Global Distribution, and will be an integral part of Speco’s continued growth.

Cleveland will be responsible for managing Speco’s browser-managed access control line. He is based out of the corporate headquarters and will report to the director of product management.

Speco’s additions on the tech support side are Drew Helford and Marielle Lafond. Both hires recently graduated from Farmingdale State College with a degree in security systems. Specializing in networking and surveillance systems, they will be responsible for giving excellent quality technical support, and working closely with the other members in their department, according to the company. They will report to the technical support manager.

On the customer service side, Ryan Agostino comes to Speco with eight years of customer service experience and will provide solutions and timely responses to Speco clients. He will report to the customer service manager.
