Tech Systems Hires 2 to Strengthen Systems Integration Expertise

Deborah Casey assumes the role of business development manager, and Bruno Desrochers is now serving as a sales manager for Tech System’s Canadian operations.

BUFORD, Ga. — Tech Systems, a provider of integrated security solutions for a diverse range of national and international clients, recently bolstered the expertise of its staff with the hiring of a pair of industry veterans.

Deborah Casey, CPP, CFE, joins the integrator, based here, with more than 40 years of experience in the security industry. After spending 20 years with The Coca-Cola Co. where she held the position of global security technology manager and retired in March, Casey will continue serving the industry in a business development manager at Tech Systems.

“Ms. Casey’s previous responsibility for building a global standard technology platform for The Coca-Cola Co. across multiple business units and creating value to the organization through the use of physical security systems will provide Tech Systems’ clients with great insight and unparalleled professionalism,” says Wayne Smith, CISSP, CISM, CPP, president, Tech Systems.

Prior to her career at The Coca-Cola Co., Casey served as assistant security director for Bank South for 13 years and seven years previously with Tech Systems. She brings a wealth of experience in the design and implementation of physical and logical security systems, according to an announcement.

“I am thrilled to have the opportunity to give back to the industry in this capacity with Tech Systems,” says Casey. “Security management is a difficult yet rewarding job. I look forward to sharing my experiences with others in this position so they can effectively mitigate risk and transform security programs and technology into value-generating solutions for the enterprise.”

Bruno Desrochers brings more than 22 years of experience in the industry, starting as a draftsman in 1996 working on a short-term contract. Most recently Desrochers served at Altel Electronic Security as a sales manager in Montreal.

He currently serves on the Integrator Advisory Council for Tyco Security Products and will apply his extensive knowledge and experience in technology, service and business development to further expand Tech Systems’ presence throughout Canada as a sales manager.

“Mr. Desrochers is well respected in the industry, works with industry leaders and makes contributions for product roadmaps of emerging industry technologies,” says Antoinette Modica, general manager, Tech Systems. “Our footprint in Canada is rapidly expanding and Mr. Desrochers will serve as a critical asset to delivering professional design, implementation and FOCUS Support Services to Tech Systems’ clients.”
