Tina D’Agostin Named New CEO of Alcatraz AI

Alcatraz AI founder Vince Gaydarzhiev will now serve as president and chief product officer, leading product innovation and technology advancements.

REDWOOD CITY, Calif. — Alcatraz AI, a developer of secure frictionless access control products, announces changes to its executive team to meet market demand and growth, according to an announcement.

Security industry leader and the company’s former Chief Revenue Officer Tina D’Agostin has been appointed CEO to spearhead global expansion of its AI-powered facial authentication solution for physical access control.

Vince Gaydarzhiev, Alcatraz’s founder, is now the president and chief product officer, leading product innovation and technology advancements.

Alcatraz AI says D’Agostin brings a wealth of experience building, scaling and managing successful technology companies. As CEO, the company says D’Agostin will be focused on accelerating high-performing teams and creating the operational foundation for hypergrowth to continue the momentum of Alcatraz’s go-to-market strategy and global expansion.

“Tina has a proven track record and acumen to bring together teams across the organization to achieve market growth, making her the perfect fit to steer Alcatraz to be the leading facial authentication platform in the US and internationally,” says Gaydarzhiev. “I will continue my role as president and chief product officer to focus on product strategy and innovation to meet our current and future customer needs, establishing Alcatraz AI as the standard for autonomous access control. Prior to Alacatraz AI, D’Agostin served as the General Manager of Building Technology & Solutions for Johnson Controls. In her tenure, D’Agostin grew revenues and market share through new customer acquisition and expansion with leading Silicon Valley and global companies.
