Power Home Technologies CEO Appointed to Make-A-Wish Board of Directors
RALEIGH, N.C. — Power Home Technologies (PHT) CEO Ben Brookhart has been appointed to the Make-A-Wish Eastern North Carolina chapter’s Board of Directors for fiscal year 2013.
Brookhart helped co-found PHT, a Monitronics authorized security dealer, in 2004. Recognized on the Inc. 500/5000 “Fastest Growing Privately Held Companies” list in 2009, 2010 and 2012, the firm has installed security systems in more than 50,000 homes nationwide. The company is also an active supporter of the Make-A-Wish foundation, which grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions.
The Eastern North Carolina chapter operates solely through donations of individuals, corporations and foundations. With the help of more than 200 volunteers, Make-A-Wish Eastern North Carolina has granted more than 2,500 wishes since its inception.
The 17-member board helps chart the course for Make-A-Wish Eastern North Carolina. It also contributes a vast array of experience and skills necessary to enhance the chapter’s public standing.
