RALEIGH, N.C. — Power Home Technologies (PHT) CEO Ben Brookhart has been appointed to the Make-A-Wish Eastern North Carolina chapter’s Board of Directors for fiscal year 2013.
Brookhart helped co-found PHT, a Monitronics authorized security dealer, in 2004. The company is also an active supporter of the Make-A-Wish foundation, which grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions.
The Eastern North Carolina chapter operates solely through donations of individuals, corporations and foundations. With the help of more than 200 volunteers, Make-A-Wish Eastern North Carolina has granted more than 2,500 wishes since its inception.
The 17-member board helps chart the course for Make-A-Wish Eastern North Carolina. It also contributes a vast array of experience and skills necessary to enhance the chapter’s public standing.
