PSA to Present Leadership, Cybersecurity Education Track at ISC West

The systems integrator cooperative will feature a range of sessions led by subject matter experts from across the industry. Topic include leadership, cybersecurity, RMR, project management and more.

WESTMINSTER, Colo. — PSA Security will host an education track with sessions and a workshop during ISC West in Las Vegas. PSA’s six-session track will be held entirely on April 10.

Members of PSA committees and other industry subject matter experts will conduct sessions that will focus on leadership, sales, cybersecurity, marketing, RMR and project management. Following is a closer look at the individual sessions:

Essential Leadership Skills for the Emerging Leader
9-10 a.m.

Organizations are facing complicated organizational challenges that demand the hasty development of new and agile leaders. Emerging leaders must swiftly learn and implement fundamental management skills, develop an extensive strategic perspective, and take their leadership skills to the next level. Attendees will discover key behaviors and essential skills needed in today’s marketplace for the up-and-coming leaders of tomorrow.

The leader’s role in handling conflict is knowing why people disagree, having a process to resolve the conflicts and knowing when to intervene. This panel discussion will provide attendees strategies to utilize conflict to propel the organization forward. These strategies will help attendees create high-performing, successful teams and develop leaders throughout the organization.
