Glancing at the homepage, the site presents a clean look, with plenty of green — the primary color in company’s logo. The header presents three categories to minimize clutter: “For Home,” “For Business” and “About Us.”As you hover over each category, a drop-down menu appears with subcategories.
“We have made our menus more user-friendly and continue to strive to keep the most important information toward the top of the page to avoid continuous scrolling while using lots of graphics and simple fonts to keep our web pages uncomplicated for a clean and crisp view,” says Jim O’Connor, Internet marketing specialist for ATS.
Clicking on each subcategory brings you to a landing page filled with information for that particular service, as well as contact form to request a quote. The responsive web design ensures the three primary categories, search button and company phone number remain at the top of the website at all times.
A primary decision-maker for potential customers is reviews. ATS makes it easy to for website visitors to find reviews by embedding them in the upper half of its homepage. ATS also makes sure its website is always updated with its latest services and offerings.
“The Acadian Total Security website is designed and managed in-house to give us complete control over the design and functionality, and the ability to make on the fly changes without delays typically encountered when involving third-party contractors,” says O’Connor.
The footer of the website displays badges featuring various accreditations and groups the company belongs to, such as The Monitoring Association (TMA), Alarm.com, the BBB and more. You’ll also find a link to the ATS refer-a-friend program. Customers receive a $100 credit to their account that can be redeemed toward the purchase equipment or applied to their monthly billing statement for every friend that signs up.
