7 Awesome Pens Given Away at ISC West 2018
Cool promo items should be part of every company’s marketing plan, even if it’s something as simple as a pen. Web Editor Steve K shares seven that caught his eye at ISC West.

Marketing plays a huge part in how successful a business may be. One easy method of marketing is handing out free items, or “swag” at trade shows and events.
As demonstrated in the quote above, these items turn into free advertising for your company. I don’t know about you, but I love free stuff. By handing out free items, you can potentially turn attendees or customers into a walking billboard.
Handing out a free hat or sunglasses? Don’t be surprised to see someone rocking them at the beach.
Giving away branded tote bags? Hey, that person in line at the grocery store brought one with them!
What I’m trying to get at is marketing should be an important part of your business. SSI even has an award program, the SAMMYs, to recognize the industry’s savviest sales and marketing efforts. Make sure to peruse the SAMMYs page to get some inspiration.
One of the simplest freebies that everyone enjoys is a good pen, and let me tell you, there was no shortage of pens among the 100’s of booths that were giving them away last week at ISC West.
Now I wouldn’t call myself a pen connoisseur, but there are few things I appreciate more in the business world than a solid (free) pen.
As I made my way around the show floor and started grabbing pens, something immediately became clear: companies are stepping up their pen game.
