Tam Hulusi has joined access control manufacturer HID Corp. as executive vice president of intellectual property.
Most recently president of IT systems contractor SMF Systems Technology Corporation, Halusi has also held executive positions at Newmark Technology, Honeywell Security, Group 4 Securitas (International) and Centronics Inc.
ADS Security has promoted Edward P. Pedersen to executive vice president and COO. It is the second promotion this year for Pedersen, who was promoted to senior vice president of branch operations in January while also serving as senior vice president of sales and marketing.
Shane Clary, the vice president of codes and standards compliance for the San Francisco-based Bay Alarm Co., has been elected to the National Fire Protection Association’s (NFPA) Board of Directors for the Building and Fire Safety Section.
YSG Door Security Consultants has promoted Michael Gill to director of architectural development.
Gill serves as an adjunct faculty member for the U.S. Department of Defense Security Services Academy.
Joe Dominguez has joined access control provider Rutherford Controls Int’l Corp. (RCI) as its new East Coast sales manager.
Dominguez has also worked at DSX Access Systems, Siemens and Pulnix Sensors.
Jackie Schmidt and Kelly Bond have joined Financial Security Services Inc. as regional directors of business development.
Conrad Henry of Contron & Associates is will represent Tane Alarm Products for eastern Canada. He was previously a branch manager for Burtek Systems Inc.
Access control maker AMAG Technology has added Matthew Barnette as its Western national accounts director. Barnette brings experience from past positions at Security Int’l, Sensormatic Electronics and Intellikey Corp.
Infinova has hired Ray Bustamante as its regional sales manager for California, Arizona and Nevada. Bustamante previously worked for Gyyr and Silent Witness.
