SSI Reveals 26th Annual SAMMY Awards Finalists!

Here are your installing security pros in the running to be honored for their marketing, business, installation and overall excellence.

FRAMINGHAM, Mass. — Security Sales & Integration proudly unveils the finalists for the 26th Annual SAMMY (Sales and Marketing) Awards. The program is the only one of its kind in the security industry to recognize and honor dealers and integrators for their marketing, business, installation and overall excellence.

SSI received more than 160 entries from installing and monitoring security systems contractors from throughout North America.

ADT Commercial leads the pack with eight finalist nods including Best Overall Marketing Program and “large company” selections for Installer of the Year and Integrated Installation of the Year. Acadian Total Security and Silent Guard are each a finalist in five categories, including Installer of the Year (large and small to midsize, respectively). Schmidt Security Pro vies in four categories, including Best Overall Marketing Program and Installer of the Year (small to midsize); and Vector Security also competes in four categories, including Installer of the Year (large).

SSI would like to thank the panel of independent judges who evaluated a multitude of entries. These individuals are among the industry’s top marketing and PR professionals. They are: Tom Brigham, principal, Brigham Scully Communications; Jon Daum, partner, Daum Weigle Public Relations; David Morgan, co-founder, Security Dealer Marketing; Beverly Steinberg, owner, GBL Public Relations; and Chelsie Woods, principal, Eclipse Media Group.

SSI will profile the SAMMY winners in the June issue, and the Installers of the Year and Integrated Installation of the Year case studies will be featured in July’s Best of the Best Issue. The annual awards gala will be hosted during ISC West in Las Vegas, which is slated to be held July 19-21. The early evening affair will also feature the SSI Industry Hall of Fame induction ceremony and presenting of the 2020 Most Valuable Product (MVP) Awards.
