Wholesale Distributor SES to Relocate Illinois Branch Closer to Chicago
The new SES location in Bensenville, Ill., is scheduled to open March 5. The expanded site will feature a larger training and demonstration area.
EARTH CITY, Mo. — SES, a low-voltage electronics wholesale distributor, based here, is relocating its branch in Mt. Prospect, Ill., to a new facility closer to Chicago.
The new location — 1116 W. South Thorndale Avenue, Bensenville, Ill. — is scheduled to open March 5. The new site was selected because of its proximity to several major expressways and O’Hare International Airport in DuPage County, as well as for its larger size of 11,000 square feet.
“The new SES Chicago area location will feature a larger training and demonstration area. We are focused on bringing continuing education and training to the marketplace. Additionally, increased showroom space will display more products for customers to experience in person,” says Derek Hagenhoff, vice president, SES.
Established in 1982, SES staffs 13 full-stocking warehouses and showrooms across the central United States. The company carries a full-line of low-voltage products across a range of markets, including intrusion and fire/life-safety, video surveillance, access control, home theater and more. SES also provides technology and installation consultation.
“We’re excited to offer even better service to our customers and have the ability to better educate our customers and vendors on solutions to grow their business,” Hagenhoff says. “The new location will feature an improved Ready Room, which is a space where installers can pick up their orders from lockers 24/7. It’s an incredibly convenient and helpful service that our clients love.”
The new space will allow SES vendor partners to display their products and educate customers on solutions to grow their businesses. These increased resources will be used by vendors, customers and SES employees learning more about changes in the industry and solutions to promote growth, the company states.
